Draft Types

Open Drafts

Whatever your group is dividing — accounts, tasks, tickets, gear, dates — put it in one shared pool and let everyone pick at the same time. No turn order, no clock, no draft night to schedule.

Open drafts are untimed: everyone picks at once, up to their own limit, and the draft finishes when everyone has hit it. Use it when speed and flexibility matter more than a strict pick order.

How it works

Put the pool up, let everyone pick.

Build the shared list once, decide how much each person gets, and open it to the group.

01

Build the shared pool

Add the accounts, tasks, items, dates, or whatever else your group is splitting. Import a list if you already have one.

02

Set each person's limit

Give every participant their own pick count. Nobody can go past it, and it is what tells the draft when it is finished.

03

Open it to the group

Invite participants and start the draft. Everyone can pick as soon as they are ready, because there is no turn to wait for.

04

Track the outcome

Selected and remaining choices stay visible the whole way, and Team View shows what each person ended up with.

Best fit

Use Open Drafts when speed matters.

Leads and accounts

Let reps claim territories, accounts, or leads from one shared list instead of assigning them by hand.

Team assignments

Hand out tasks, responsibilities, or equipment without coordinating a live draft room.

Low-conflict pools

When most of the choices are roughly equal, a strict pick order only slows everyone down.

Product depth

Flexible does not mean unstructured.

Open drafts skip the clock, not the controls. Admins can still pause the draft and adjust picks when something needs fixing.
